Case StudyWebsite for a kite camp community
Nordic Kite Community runs small kite camps along the Danish coast, with sauna, bonfire and community. I built the bilingual website where people find the camps, check the wind and apply to join.

Overview
Stine started Nordic Kite Community for people who want more than just kitesurfing. The camps are small, the evenings are spent in the sauna and around the fire, and people come alone and go home with a group.
For the first season Stine needed a website that showed the camps, let people apply for a seat and worked in both Danish and English.
What I did
I designed a few directions as prototypes, and Stine picked the one with soft gradients and lots of air. I built the site from that design in Danish and English, with Danish as the default.
Every camp has its own page with dates, level, price and how many seats are left. The apply form shows the price, takes a discount code and sends Stine the application, and the applicant gets a confirmation in their own language. Each kite spot shows the live wind, updated every hour, so visitors can see what the conditions look like right now.

Run by the client
Stine edits the camps, spots and discount codes herself in Keystatic, with no code involved. She can change the seats left, put a camp on the waitlist or pause a discount code, and the change is live a couple of minutes later.
After launch I added Stine's own story and photos, linked each camp to its spot so the camp page shows that spot's wind, and moved the emails to branded templates. The site sets no cookies and has a privacy policy in both languages.
